NAAN reserves the right to use external vendors to operate its IT environments including our website(s) and elements within them (e.g. iKAAN). All data is securely held by the National Appropriate Adult Network (NAAN) under the terms of the GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 (‘the Act’) and will be treated with the utmost care and respect. NAAN is registered with the Information Commissioners Office and will hold your personal data securely in accordance with the Act

All information you provide to us via the website is stored on servers provided by our website hosting provider and/or our constituent relationship management (CRM) provider. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access, using only providers that have stated that their software is compliant with GDPR.

If you register a scheme as a member of NAAN and you are the primary contact on that membership account, some of your personal information (e.g. name, email address and telephone number) may be publicly available on our Network Map. As the primary contact, your work email address may be revealed to other primary contacts via invitations to NAAN network meetings.

If you register a iKAAN account, data will not be disclosed to external organisations other than those acting as agents for NAAN with the exception that NAAN reserves the right to share limited personal data with your AA scheme for the following purposes:
